Terms & Conditions
Amended Terms & Conditions of New Train Tour Tour Operator :
- Over Past Four Decades ,Palace on Wheels was operated by Tourism Dept of Rajasthan State Govt ( RTDC) ,but has been Privatized for Sept 2023 Onwards Departs
- The New Train Tour Operator ( Joint Collaboration of Cube Construction & Easy Toll Solutions) has amended Booking Terms & Cancellation Rules for Exiting & New Bookings
Amended - Palace On Wheels Booking Procedure :
- Clarify your Nationality viz if Indian National Or Foreign Passport Holder Or OCI card Holder
- Advice depart dates with number of persons & cabin type required to Check Availability
- In case of children< 12 years travelling with you , We also require their Date of Birth .
- To Process Booking ,we require Passport Copies of all Passengers
- In case of OCI Card Holders-we require copy of same
- Booking will be confirmed on receipt of 25% of Published Ticket value (inclusive taxes) as advance deposit.
- Payment can be made Either by Credit Card Or Bank Transfer
- Balance payment must reach us before 65 days before tour depart
- If Booking request made less than 65 days prior to tour depart,-we require One Time Full Payment to confirm Booking
- Travel Kit & e-ticket will be forwarded One Month Before depart
- Train Operator Prepares Saloon/cabin Allocation Chart only One Day before Depart
- In case of Further Changes made in Tariff Or Taxes made by Train Tour Operator- ,Guest is liable to Pay the same.
Payment Options :
- Foreign Passport Holders Can pay Either by Credit Card Authorization OR Swift Bank Wire Transfer.
- Indians pay by NEFT/RTGS Transfer through Indian Bank.
Amended - CANCELLATION TERMS Palace on Wheels
- Since September 2023 , Palace on Wheels Train Tour has been privatized & is now being by Joint Consortium of M/S Easy Toll & Cube Contruction Ltd
- Owner of Palace on Train is Tourism Dept of Rajasthan State Govt (RTDC)
- Royal Indian Trains , is Authorized Booking Agent of Train Tour Operator & its liability limited accordingly
- All Cancellation requests must be made in writing & acknowledged by us
- Minimum 10% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes -if request received more than 91 Days prior to Tour Depart
- Minimum 25% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes) if request received between 90 Days to 61 Days Prior to Tour Depart
- Minimum 50% Cancellation Fee on Published Ticket Value (inclusive Taxes) if request received between 60 Days to 31 Days Prior to Tour Depart
- 100% Cancellation fee ( viz NO REFUND ) if Cancellation Request is received less than 31 Days Prior to Tour Depart
- In case of Failure to make Balance Payment more than 64 days before depart-Entire Advance Paid stands forfeited
- Train tour will Operate Subject to Booking of Minimum Fifteen Cabins
- In case Scheduled Depart Cancelled by Train Tour Operator for whatsover reason,-They are liable to make full refund of Train Ticket of Palace on Wheels advance received (without any additional liability to compensate CLIENT for any other claims for financial loss Or mental harrasement suffered etc)
- Request for Change in Name of Passenger Or Journey will be treated as cancellation & governed by Cancellation Rules
- Train Tour Operator Reserves the Right to Amend Tariff , Booking Terms & Cancellation Rules at Short Notice & CLIENT is liable to pay same( irrespective if advance already recd)
- In case of Increase in Govt Taxes -Guest is liable to pay the difference
- No refund if self curtailment of journey ,by Guest, for whatsover reason
- In case of Request for Postponement of Journey due to Medical Emergency etc ,SUPPORTING Documents are required & -same will be forwarded to Management of Train Operator .Their decision will be final
- No refund will be made ,In case Guest does not valid Indian Visa
- Disputes ,if any, are Subject to Jurisdiction of Courts of NCR Delhi ( Gurgaon) ,India only
IMPORTANT :
- We suggest- Overseas guests to pre-purchase Tour Insurance from country of origin of travel\
- It is mandatory for Foreign Passport Holders(of any nationality) to pre-apply for India Visa
- There is NO Visa on Arrival facility in India- for Foreigner of any nationality
- Maximum liability of Royal Indian trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
- Disputes (if any) are subject to jurisdiction of courts of Gurgaon ,NCR Delhi (India) only.
