The Jungles of Kanha have significant number of Royal Bengal Tigers,Bara Singha,Sloth Bear,Indian wild Dog beside number of other reptiles,mammals, birds & over 1000 species of of flowering plants.The lush Sal & Bamboo Forest ,grasy meadows & ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel “The Jungle Book” .
The main zones open for tourists are Kisli,Khatia,Mukki & Serai
